Looking for more a moderate temperature in Spain to relocate to on the coast?
I visited Spain just last year, and the northwest region, particularly Galicia, is one of the areas I’d like to explore, especially given its moderate climate. Galicia is an ideal destination for those seeking a distinctive and affordable place to relocate, with a unique blend of natural beauty, culture, and a temperate environment. Known for its lush green landscapes, rugged coastline, and misty forests, Galicia has a character often compared to that of Ireland or Scotland. Major cities like A Coruña, Vigo, and Santiago de Compostela each bring their own appeal: A Coruña with its lively maritime heritage, sandy beaches, and vibrant nightlife; Vigo with its bustling port, fishing industry, and access to the pristine Cíes Islands; and Santiago de Compostela, the historic endpoint of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. Galicia’s cultural richness, from traditional Celtic-inspired music to festivals, adds charm, and its cuisine, especially the seafood, is some of the best in Spain. With a cooler, refreshing climate and lower property prices than other Spanish coasts, Galicia offers expats a unique, affordable, and enriching relocation experience.
